Human development begins at conception and continues
right through to adolescence after which the young adult emerges. If you think about the life span what would
you consider the period of development in different stages?

Death and dying
The above list reflects
various stages of life span in which we have different relations, different
motor abilities, and cognitive skills.
Social
Development
Initially at this stage
babies will only know their own needs and cry when they are hungry or when in
pain. They want comfort in their zone and from that person that has formed the
closest bond. After some ages baby will start to respond to their name with
different hand signs and facial expressions and try to become familiar with
their surroundings. A newborn baby with
a keen sense of listening but poor vision is transformed into walking in a relatively
short period.
Physical
Development
We see babies grow very
quickly and their basic brain functions happen. At this stage, the baby sleeps
a lot but will move their hand and legs around more when they awake in their mother`s
or father`s arms. Moreover, they usually respond to multi-sensory activities
such as rhymes or any fingers games. Additionally, the fontanelles (gap in the skull) will begin to close and they will
be able to hold their head up gradually.
They will develop the skills of passing the object between their hands with
their eye coordination and that will also improve their visions of seeing.
Intellectual
Development
Babies are sharp; initially,
they respond to colors pictures, and faces to recognize faces and sounds. They usually explore things by putting their
mouth and can put shapes into the container. Additionally, they start to learn to
stack objects and hide objects in familiar places, and the dangerous part is
this they can’t distinguish between safe or dangerous at this stage.
Communications
and Language Development
Babies turn their heads
toward where the sounds came and they usually respond to the familiar sound
that makes them comfortable. Furthermore, they need attention and cry to gain the
attention of their caretaker, they use their sounds like as, ma or da and after
some months they easily use words like mama and dada.
Emotional
Development
Baby tries to make a strong
bond with their main caretaker which is mostly their parents. Daily positive
routine makes baby feel satisfied that causes baby to become settled. Additionally,
they emotionally connect with all those people around them daily. They easily
get disheartened and start to express dislike when they don’t feel good.
Difference
between Sequence of Development and Rate of Development
The sequence of
development is the example/request of development a youngster follows, for
instance, a kid creeping before strolling or strolling before running.
Components might be missed, for example, a youngster passing up a major
opportunity slithering before strolling, yet the development will go on in what
is known as a normal example of development.
The rate of development
is the speed of maturity at which a kid makes these developments. For instance,
one youngster might figure out how to slither at 9 months old, yet another kid
will be unable to creep until a year old.
The sequence of
development is a typical request in most youngsters, yet the rate of
development is different for each kid.
It means quite a bit to
realize the contrast between the sequence of development and the rate of
development to have the option to distinguish any exceptional requirements a
kid might have during each progressive phase. It is important to make
successful arrangements to guarantee the kid is getting all the essential help
in the areas they see as generally troublesome.
